About LOCAL Go GREEN

The LIFE22 - CET - LOCAL GoGREEN project enables local authorities to accelerate their Clean Energy Transition (CET). The project will use an innovative approach that will provide local authorities in pilot municipalities in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Italy and Spain with specific training for integrated climate and energy planning. The guidance and exchange of good practices will enhance synergies between public and private stakeholders in the 6 pilot projects in the implementation of integrated measures at local level.

The project started in November 2023 and will run until the end of October 2026. The project includes specific training plans in strategic areas and the creation of a transnational knowledge-sharing ecosystem that will pave the way towards sustainable energy communities, through capacity building, participatory decision-making and collaborative actions for the design and implementation of integrated climate and energy plans.
